Tehnopol Galati Association organized on March 18, 2015 an online international conference attended by representatives of the Municipality of Galati, CODATU (Cooperation for the continuous development of urban and suburban transport) Lyon France and S.C. METROUL S.A. Romania. At the conference the following issues were discussed: the possibility of cooperation in order to achieve the plan for sustainable urban mobility to create a viable urban transport system and participation of the Municipality of Galati as a partner in the project called ”Strengthening knowledge and capacities of local authorities”, with a particular focus on the Sustainable Urban Mobility plans to be proposed for funding under Horizon 2020.
